If you plan to attend the show, there are some quick tips, easy pointers, and all round helpful stuff that you might need to know.

Busing it?
Did you know, that Lethbridge Transit has buses that can drop you off right inside the Air Show?  YES! You can beat the Traffic!  Regular runs from the ENMAX Centre to the AIR SHOW continue throughout both days of the event.

Flying In?
SO, you’ve decided to fly in!  Now THAT is a GREAT way to see the show!
Regular admission applies, but if you put your aircraft on STATIC DISPLAY, we’ll give you 2 passes to the show!  Heck – we’ll even reserve you a hotel room and get you the special rate!  There are just a few things you should keep in mind when you’re flying in.  Like NOTAMs for instance.  Contact us early if you plan to attend – we’re always happy to accommodate private and visiting aircraft.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 9:00am and close at 6:00pm

Is there parking available on site?
Parking is available onsite. Alternatively, ticket holders may “Park & Ride” our shuttle buses from the Enmax Centre front parking lot.

What Facilities will be available during the air show?
We (and our partners) offer Food Concessions, Free Parking, Gift Shops, Motor Coach/RV Parking, Restrooms, Snacks and Souvenirs.

Is the show wheelchair accessible?
YES, all public areas are wheelchair accessible.

Is there parking for the disabled?
YES, all vehicles displaying a recognized ”Disabled” tag will be directed through Gate #6 to VIP Parking.

Are coolers permitted?
YES, You are welcome to bring your cooler to the air show. However, for security reasons – ALL COOLERS will be subject to a security search upon arrival at the show.

Are Backpacks or Bags permitted?
YES, but for security reasons – backpacks and other bags will be searched by security personnel upon arrival.

Are lawn chairs or blankets allowed?
YES – by all means – please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and/or blankets.

Are any seating options provided?
Yes, some areas have bleachers which are available on a “first come first serve” basis at an additional cost.

Are pets permitted?
NO – there will be no pets permitted on the airport grounds. Animals left in (or at) vehicles will be dealt with in accordance to animal welfare laws. For those traveling with their pets, please consider one of the local kennels or contact a local veterinarian for other accommodation options.

What about my working dog?
Working dogs are welcome on airport grounds, and in the public areas of the air show provided they are properly identified and licenses.

Are there shady areas provided on hot sunny air show days?
Yes, there are some VIP tents (at additional cost) and other shaded areas, however SHADE IS AT A PREMIUM and should NOT be relied upon. Patrons at risk of heat/sun related injuries or illnesses are encouraged to bring adequate head wear, parasols or other portable forms of shade. Such items should ALWAYS be used with respect and consideration for those around you. Security may ask you to relocate if your shade device proves disruptive to others.

What if the weather turns bad?
In the event of rain, our on site meteorologist will monitor the situation closely and a decision will be made whether the show will be postponed until it passes or cancelled. The show is cancelled only as a last resort if it is absolutely necessary and there is no hope of clear skies. The ground displays will remain open, but NO REFUNDS will be issued.

Bicycles, Skateboards, or Inline Skates?
Unfortunately, for reasons of safety – we cannot permit ANY form of alternative foot traffic which is capable of traveling faster than a normal walk. Please do NOT bring such forms of transportation to the air show.
